PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Elemental Potassium is concentrated supplement contains one of the main macro nutrient “Potassium”. Its deficiency results in perforated, dead and yellow leaf tissues known as necroses. Equipped with pH buffering capability, it allows precise and controlled dosing of potassium in planted aquarium.
WHY ELEMENTAL POTASSIUM?
In plants, potassium plays an important role in biochemical reactions, water and nutrient transportation, protein and starch synthesis. Moreover, it is crucial for the osmoregulation of cells and tissue. Characteristic lack of potassium is perforated leaves or dying leaf tissue (necroses) along with yellow leaves and reduced growth.
Ideal potassium concentrations are around 10 to 40 mg/L.
Elemental Potassium by Aquatrition® is equipped with pH buffering capacity along with providing potassium for aquatic species. This increases the CO2 stability of the setup.
RECOMMENDED DOSE
Use 5mL of the solution per 60 liters of water to raise the potassium concentration by 5 mg/L. For best results, use in combination with Elemental Nitrogen and Elemental Phosphorus by Aquatrition®.
