PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Elemental Phosphorus is concentrated supplement for freshwater planted aquarium containing one of the main macro nutrient “Phosphorus”. Its deficiency results in slow growth and increase in green spot algae. Elemental Phosphorus allows precise and controlled dosing of phosphorus in planted aquarium.
WHY ELEMENTAL PHOSPHORUS?
Phosphorus although required in smaller amounts as compared to other macro nutrients, is an essential for photosynthesis and formation of new tissues in plants. Additionally, it is a vital component of nucleic acid in plants. The deficiency of phosphorus is usually visible as shunted growth, reduced leaf shoots and discoloration.
In a planted tank, phosphate concentrations should be maintained at 0.2 to 3 mg/L along with adequate nitrogen and potassium dosing.

RECOMMENDED DOSE
Use 5mL of the solution per 60 liters of water to raise the phosphorus concentration equivalent to 1.2 mg/L phosphate. For best results, use in combination with Elemental Nitrogen and Elemental Potassium by Aquatrition®.
