Estimative Index is based on an exclusive way for dosing fertilizers in freshwater planted aquarium without the need to check the nutrient using test kits. It contains water-soluble macro nutrients (NPK) and chelated micro nutrients (Fe, Mg, Mn, Zn, B, Cu and Mo). Weekly water changes ensure that nothing builds up, thus resetting the nutrient levels.
WHY ESTIMATIVE INDEX?
Estimative Index (EI) dosing method is based on the principle of abundance. The nutrients are dosed more than the requirement by the plants, but in a combination such that the algae cannot take over. It works best with high lighting setups with large amount of plant mass and lean substrate system.
The Estimative Index by Aquatrition® is based on the formulations of EI such that the plants are dosed with each and every nutrient in ratio. End of the week a 50% water change has to be done to prevent anything from building up and the whole process should be repeated again.
Use 10mL of the solution per 60 liters of water. Dose macro and micro nutrients on alternate days. For best results, use in combination with Liquid Carbon by Aquatrition®.
