PRODUCT OVERVIEW
Iron Plus is a concentrated ferrous source which improves coloration in aquatic plants by ensuring high availability and rapid absorption of iron. Blended with organic acids, this formulation also contains the complex form of iron, which ensures sustained release of iron for plants.
WHY IRON PLUS?
Iron is an important constituent of enzymes and pigments which springs healthy coloration in plants. Deficiency of iron causes the leaves to turn pale as there is decrease in production of chlorophyll. Ferrous form of iron is desirable in planted aquarium as it is easily absorbed by the plants.
In a planted aquarium the iron levels should be maintained between 0.05 to 0.5 ppm.
Iron Plus by Aquatrition® is a highly concentrated iron supplement which rejuvenates the bright color in aquatic plants. It is derived from a mixture of various ferrous salts, to ensure short to long term supply of iron for plants.
RECOMMENDED DOSE
Use 1mL of the solution per 60 liters of water to raise the iron concentration by 0.2 mg/L. Doses can be adjusted depending on the plant growth. For best results, use in combination with other products of Essentials and Enhancers by Aquatrition®.
